Day by day orkut is becoming more and more popular with new and improved features So here we are listing orkut tricks so that you can get most out of orkuts and impress your firends with cool orkuts tips and tricks.

1.) Send anonymous scrap in Orkut

For sending a anonymous scrap, follow the steps:

Create a fake account.
Write the scraps to the person you want.
Delete the account.
Your scraps from the deleted account becomes anonymous.

2. ) Scrap Without name in Orkut

For sending scraps without name follow the steps:

Open edit profile
Delete First and Second Name
Then on the first name text box type ALT + 0173 (i.e. Type 0173 while pressing the ALT key of your keyboard.)
Do the same in the Second Name Box.
Click Update.

Now you are done you can send scraps without your name.

3.) Send Blank Scrap in Orkut

Place the cursor in the text field.
Delete everything in the field.
Now, HOLD (Keep pressed) ALT key and press 0 1 7 3 (Press the numbers one after the another. Do not keep them pressed) on the NUMBER PAD (on the right side of the keyboard).
Click SUBMIT

4.) Write Anonymous Scraps to anyone at orkut

Create a fake account at orkut
Write the scraps to the person you want.
Delete the account and your scraps will become anonymous at orkut.

5.) Writing your text in reverse order at orkut.

Type your text in the scrapbook.
Type & # 8 2 3 8 without spaces before the message.
Click Submit or Post scrap.

6.) How to by pass the verification image while posting a url in a scrapbook in orkut.

Change http to HtTp and www to wWw.
Now post the scrap
No Verification now needed.

7.) Adding images to orkut scraps

You can send images to your friend through scrap. But the condition is that urls of those images should have .jpg, .gif, .png or .bmp in their ending.

for example, Copy and paste “http://www.desiclub.com/bollywood/photo_album/photoalbums/aamir_khan/aamir3.jpg” in scrapbook and then press ‘postscrap’. Now you will see the images as a scrap in your scrapbook.

8.) Hiding your visits on the other’s profiles in Orkut

1) Go to ‘Setting’.
2) Click on ‘privacy’ tab and select hide profile visit.

9.) How To Add a New Orkut Theme

Few people are still unaware of Orkut Themes and don’t know how to get that. Here I will write the steps to add a new orkut theme to your profile

You can find the link to theme changer on the orkut menu bar on top and in the right side next to where your email is shown.

10.) Know Email Of Any Orkut Member

This Trick will allow you to know email address of any orkut member very easily.

Let’s get on it right a way.

Know Email of Any Orkut Member

Navigate to the profile page of the member you wish to know the email address.
Add that person as a friend.
Now navigate to your friends page.
On the right hand side, you will find a option to export contacts.
Choose Export Contacts Option.
Fill in the Word Verification on the Next Page.
You will be prompted to download the contacts.csv file.
Once you have downloaded the file, open it in Microsoft Excel or any other compatible software.
You will see all the email addresses including those which have not yet accepted your friend requests but have recieved your friend request.
